Tawau UTC Building, formerly known as the Tanjung Market is located in the heart of the city, which now has a new look and it will be easier for people around the area to conduct a variety of business. UTC Tawau started operation on 15 August 2016.

UTC Tawau which houses various departments, including the Immigration Department, Road Transport Department, Registration Department, Health Department, Royal Malaysian Police operates daily from 8 am to 9 pm except on public holidays.
